Visitors should feel they are in your audio guide, not in an app. Your logo, colour, typeface and cover appear in the player on every plan. Only administrators can change them, and every change is recorded in the activity log.

Everything lives in Settings: the Brand tab, which opens first, holds the look, and the Details tab holds the name, description and location.

Upload your logos

Muvo asks for two versions of your logo, because a single image never looks right everywhere. Both accept PNG, JPG or WebP up to 5 MB; a PNG with a transparent background works best.

  1. Go to Settings → Brand.

  2. Under Horizontal logo, drag your file in or press choose one. Use the long version of your logo, about 4 times wider than tall (for example 800 × 200 px), with no margins. The preview How it will look in the header of the audio guide shows the result.

  3. Under Square logo, add the compact version. Muvo opens Crop the square logo: drag and zoom until it sits well, then press Use this crop.

  4. Press Save at the bottom of the page.

ImageWhere it appears
Horizontal logoThe header of the audio guide on the visitor's phone, 40 pixels high. Also on printed QR labels, when you show the logo there.
Square logoThe space switcher of the panel, the list Museums near me in the player and the centre of the premium QR code. Without a horizontal logo, the player header shows it small, next to the space name, and QR labels use it instead.
No logoThe player header shows the name of the space in text.

A square logo squeezed into the header looks tiny. If your visitors only see the name in small type, upload a horizontal logo. To remove an image, press Remove next to it and save.

Choose your colour and typeface

Under Colour and typeface, pick the Main colour from the suggested colours or type its hex code. It colours the buttons and links of the player, and the bar of the phone's browser when a visitor adds your guide to the home screen. How it will look in the player shows a sample button and link.

If your colour is too light for white text, Muvo does not reject it: the player uses a slightly darker shade so everything stays readable, and the picker tells you which one. A colour that already has enough contrast shows Meets AA.

Text type in the audio guide sets the type visitors read your texts in: Serif, classic like a book, or Sans serif, modern like a screen. Each visitor can still change it in the player's reading settings.

Add a cover image

The Cover image (optional) sits at the top of your space's page in the player, above its name and description, where visitors see the list of your audio guides. Use a wide photo of the building or a room. It accepts PNG, JPG or WebP up to 5 MB. Remember to press Save.

Fill in the space details

  1. Go to Settings → Details.

  2. Check the Name, between 2 and 80 characters. Visitors see it in the player. Changing it does not change your QR codes or links.

  3. Choose the Type of space.

  4. Write a Short description of up to 280 characters. It appears under the name on your space's page in the player.

  5. Under Location, type the address in Search the address, press Search and pick a result. Drag the pin on the map if it is not exactly right.

  6. Press Save.

The location helps visitors find your space in Museums near me, the list of nearby audio guides in the player.

What depends on your plan

  • Your logos, colour, typeface, cover and details work the same on Zero, Premium and Ultra.
  • On Zero, the player also shows a small footer that reads «Audio guide made with» followed by the Muvo logo. On paid plans the player shows no trace of Muvo.
  • The premium QR code, with your colours and your logo in the centre, is set up in QR codes. You can try it for free and then unlock it with credits or with a paid plan. See Print QR labels and the pricing page.

Brand changes reach the player as soon as you save, with no need to publish. QR labels you already printed keep the old logo, so print them again if it matters.
