A tour that works even when the tourist office is closed.

  1. Today

Visitors arrive after the tourist office has already closed.

    With Muvo

The tour is on their phone at any time, stop by stop.

  2. Today

Leaflets in three languages that run out and need reprinting.

    With Muvo

No leaflets: the text changes in the panel and the plaque in the street stays put.

  3. Today

A voice-over per language, commissioned and recorded every time something changes.

    With Muvo

A natural AI voice in every language, or your team's own, recorded in the browser.

Your team does it, with no technicians or agency.

Muvo is designed so the audio guide is run by the people who know the place, not by a supplier. If you can write an email, you can make an audio guide.

It's so simple that in some schools the students write and record it themselves.

  • Your first stop, this afternoon

You create the space in two minutes, write the text and listen to it on your phone. No project, no meetings and no waiting for anyone.

  • You change it, whenever you like

A new fact, a typo, one more stop: you edit it in the panel and publish it. No calling a supplier or paying for a new recording.

  • Signs from your own printer

Ready-made templates with each stop's QR code, name and number, as a PDF for your printer or as files for your print shop.

  • For the whole team

With Premium or Ultra you invite colleagues by email: admins for the plan and billing, editors for the content, and a log of every change.

Inside Muvo. Hear it for yourself.

This is an audio guide published with Muvo, in the same player visitors open. Press play here, or scan the code with your phone and listen like any other visitor.

Capitel califal de Medina Azahara

A real audio guide of Museo ARCA, in Bogotá, Colombia

Welcome to Al-Andalus. This marble capital is a good starting point because it sums up, in a single block of stone, everything that Córdoba was in the tenth century: the largest and most cultured city in Europe, the head of a caliphate that stretched from the Duero to North Africa, and the capital of a civilisation that spoke Arabic, prayed in three religions and read the Greek philosophers when the rest of the continent had forgotten them.

First, look at the texture. The Andalusi stonemasons carved the marble with an instrument called a drill, which pierces and heats the stone until it becomes a kind of lace. Specialists call this technique the "wasp's nest capital", because of the hollows that look like the holes of a beehive. The idea is not only to decorate: it is to let light pass through the capital, so that the stone seems light, almost textile. The caliph's power is not shown with a solid capital, but with one that breathes.

This piece comes from Medina Azahara, a palace city that the caliph Abd al-Rahman III ordered to be built on the outskirts of Córdoba around the year 936. It was an administrative and ceremonial capital designed to dazzle the ambassadors arriving from Constantinople, from Baghdad, from the Christian kingdoms of the north. Chronicles of the time tell of pools of mercury in the courtyards, golden ceilings and doors that closed by hydraulic mechanisms. It lasted barely seventy years. In 1010, amid a civil war within the caliphate itself, Medina Azahara was looted and then forgotten. For centuries, the local peasants simply called it "the old ruin".

Think for a moment about what that means for us here in Colombia. While Europe was still counting its days in dark centuries, Córdoba had a library of four hundred thousand volumes, street lighting, hospitals and a university. The language of that university was not Latin: it was Arabic. The science taught there, such as algebra, astronomy and medicine, had been written in Arabic for several centuries, and from Córdoba it would pass, translated, to the rest of the world. Many words we use every day in Colombia come from that Andalusi Arabic: "azúcar", "almohada", "alcalde", "alcancía", "aceite", "ojalá". Every time we say "ojalá", from the Arabic in shā' Allāh, "God willing", we are, without knowing it, quoting Córdoba.

The capital in front of you probably supported, a thousand years ago, a column in the hall where the caliph received foreign envoys. After that hall came looting, neglect and the archaeological excavation of the twentieth century. And after all of that, this capital arrived in Bogotá.

When you have finished listening, move on to the display case on the left, where a small ivory casket awaits you, which belonged to the most powerful woman of the caliphate.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your question?

The Help Center walks you through it step by step. If it doesn't, we will.

Talk to us
  1. Do visitors need to download an app?

No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and the audio guide opens in the browser, in their language, with nothing to install and no sign-up. Everyone listens on their own phone, with their own headphones if they have them.

  2. Can it be bought as a small contract?

Ultra is a fixed yearly price of €3,999 excluding VAT, an amount that in many countries can be bought through a simple direct purchase for small contracts, without a long tender. We issue VAT invoices and prepare the quote you need for the file.

  3. How many visitors can the route have?

Each different phone counts once a month. Zero includes 75 visitors a month, Premium 1,000 a month and Ultra 25,000 a year. A busy month can be extended with credits, without changing plan.

  4. Which languages can my audio guide be in?

In 133 languages and regional variants: British or American English, French from France or Belgium, European or Brazilian Portuguese, and many more. You write in your language, Muvo translates and voices it, and you review each translation next to the original before publishing it.

  5. What if I change something in the text?

You change the paragraph in the panel and only that paragraph is generated again. Visitors keep hearing the published version until you publish the new one, and the printed QR code stays the same.

  6. How much does it cost?

You start free with Zero, with no card and no time limit: 75 visitors a month and 20 AI credits to get started. Premium costs €129 a month or €1,299 a year, and Ultra €3,999 a year, excluding VAT. One credit is one paragraph voiced or translated with AI; writing, recording and publishing are free.

  7. What if I don't have time to write the texts?

Our content team writes them from what you already have (leaflets, fact sheets, notes) and leaves the audio guide published, with the final word always yours. It is a separate service, not included in Muvo's plans: we prepare a fixed quote for your project.
