By default your QR codes are the classic black squares on white, the ones every phone reads best. You can give them the look of your space instead: your colours, rounded or dotted modules, round corners and your logo in the centre. The style applies to every sign of the studio, every package and every download from then on; codes already printed keep working.

Open the style of your QR codes

  1. Go to QR codes and press Customise in the Your QR code style card (on Zero, Try it for free).

  2. Start from one of the Ideas to get started, or change the Modules, the Corners, the Colours and the Logo in the centre one by one.

  3. Watch the large preview and the wall label next to it, which shows the code on a sign with one of your artworks.

  4. Press Save style.

Check it still scans

Under the preview, Muvo reads the code as a phone would, at the size of a 2 cm print, and tells you the result as you change it:

MessageWhat to do
Scans well, even printed at 2 cm.Nothing: print it at any usual size.
It scans, but print it at 4 cm or more.Fine for signs and posters; for small labels, add contrast or remove the logo.
It may be hard to scan.Use darker modules, square modules or no logo before printing.

Modules must be darker than the background, with enough contrast between them: Muvo does not let you save a combination phones would struggle with. A simple, square logo reads best; by default the centre takes the square logo of Settings → Brand.

Try it for free, keep it with your plan

The custom style is included in Premium and Ultra. On Zero, administrators can try everything with the live preview without spending anything; Unlock and save shows the cost in credits first and unlocks it for ever. See pricing for the current cost.

In the sign studio you can still print some signs with the classic black and white code (Style → QR code style), and packages for designers include the black and white version too, in case they need it.
