Statistics, in the side menu, shows how your audio guides are listened to. Every member of the space can see it. The data is anonymous and collected by Muvo itself, without cookies or third-party tools, and it shows up within 5 minutes of a visitor scanning a QR code.

Choose a period

At the top, choose 7 days, 30 days (the default) or 12 months. For any other range, pick From and To and press Show. A custom period can cover up to two years and never goes past today. Days are counted in UTC.

Below the buttons, Muvo reminds you of the dates shown. For periods longer than three months, the chart groups listens by month instead of by day.

The four main figures

FigureWhat it counts
VisitorsDifferent phones each day. A visitor who comes back on another day counts again.
ListensTimes someone pressed play on an artwork.
Minutes listenedAn estimate: how far each listen got, multiplied by the length of the audio.
Listened on averageHow far a listen goes, from the 25 %, 50 %, 75 % and 100 % marks the player records.

Visitors, Listens and Minutes listened show their change against the same number of days just before, so a 30-day view compares with the previous 30 days. Listens per day draws the listens of the period as a line.

Artworks, tours and extras

  • Most listened artworks: the top 10, with listens and minutes. Click a name to open the artwork.
  • Most abandoned artworks: the share of listens that do not reach the end, only for artworks with at least 5 listens. A high rate often means a text that is too long or starts slowly.
  • Tours: how many were started and finished, the visitors who reached each step, and the step where most leave here.
  • Sheet of the artworks: how many times visitors opened each extra, such as a gallery, video, PDF or link. See Add extras below the player.
  • Access codes: if your space has codes, how many were used in the period and how many are unused now.

Languages

The Languages card compares two things: the Language they listen in, which is one of your audio guide's languages, and the Language of the phone, which is whatever the visitor's phone is set to.

When a phone language is common among your visitors (at least 5 % of them and at least 3 visitors) and none of your audio guide's languages covers it, Muvo shows You are missing these languages and names them. Administrators can press Add languages to go straight to the language settings. See Add or remove languages.

A phone set to Catalan counts as covered if your audio guide has Valencian, because the player offers Valencian to Catalan speakers.

Visitors and usage

At the bottom, Visitors and usage shows the monthly visitors that count towards your plan. Each different phone counts once a month, the first time it opens an artwork or a tour. Choose a Month and press Show to see the accesses of the month, the visitors who Could not get in because the limit was full, any Extra visitors bought, and the Credits spent in the month.

Every access of the month lists when each phone came in, through which artwork, tour or QR code, and in which language. For the current month, a bar shows how close you are to your plan's limit. See Choose a plan.

Export to CSV and privacy

Press CSV on a card to download it as a spreadsheet for the period you are viewing:

  • Listens per day: day, listens and visitors.
  • Most listened artworks: every artwork with its number, listens, listens to the end, abandoned percentage, minutes and opens.
  • Languages: listens per listening language and visitors per phone language.
  • Every access of the month: one row per access of the chosen month, with the time in UTC.

Statistics are anonymous by design. The player keeps a random id on the phone without using cookies, and the server turns it into an anonymous id that changes every day and is different for each space, so nobody can follow a visitor from one day to the next. IP addresses and personal details are never stored. That is why your player needs no cookie banner.
