AI-powered audio guides for museums
Your museum, told by you.
In every language in the world.
Your team writes the texts. Our artificial intelligence translates them and narrates them in more than 100 languages and accents. We work with museums across Spain, Latin America, Portugal, Brazil and the rest of the world. No app, no devices, no bespoke development.

In four steps, your museum has audio guides in any language
No external providers, no recording studios, no hardware at the ticket desk.

You upload your texts
Your team writes the explanations for each piece in the museum's language, with whatever level of rigour the institution requires. We use a simple dashboard, no technical training needed, so anyone on your team can do it.

AI translates into every language you need
Muvo proposes translations into more than 100 languages and accents. Your team reviews, adjusts and publishes. We never translate into a language without a human sign-off.

AI turns the text into audio
Our system generates the narration with natural voices selected for each language and accent. If at any point you prefer a human recording, you can upload that too.

The visitor scans and listens
Every piece has its own unique QR code. The visitor points their phone at it, picks a language and listens. No apps to install. No devices to collect at the desk.
TAILORED DEMO
30 minutes to see Muvo working with your museum
Tell us what kind of institution you run and we'll prepare a tailored demo: we'll load a real piece from your collection, generate its audio guide in the languages you care about, and show you around the dashboard. No obligation and no sales script: if Muvo isn't right for you, we'll be the first to tell you.
Available during European and Latin American business hours. If it doesn't fit, email us at hola@muvo.es and we'll find a slot.

Professional audio guides within reach of any institution
What used to cost tens of thousands of euros now fits inside a management dashboard.
You decide the level of rigour
The AI doesn't invent content. It only translates and narrates what your team has written and approved. Zero hallucinations, zero surprises, zero liability over data you don't control.
No hardware, no maintenance
Forget managing devices, batteries and replacements. Every visitor uses their own phone. The only physical thing is the QR code next to the piece.
Over 100 languages and accents
Including Galician, Basque, Catalan and Valencian. And Spanish accents adapted to your audience: Mexican Spanish, Argentinian Spanish, peninsular Spanish. Connect with every visitor in their natural way of speaking.
Full self-management
You update a text at 11pm and by 11:02pm it's available in every language and in audio. No need to ask anyone for changes.
Live in days, not months
Setting up a museum on Muvo, uploading the first pieces and generating the QR codes can be done in an afternoon. A traditional audio guide takes months and costs thousands of euros.
Data to improve the experience
Anonymous metrics on which pieces get the most listens, which languages are most in demand, which rooms hold the most attention. Useful information without collecting any personal data from visitors.
If you have something to tell the people who visit you, Muvo is for you
Muvo was born for museums, but the technology is just as suited to any institution, company or event that wants to share knowledge.
Doesn't your case appear here, but you still have visitors who want to understand something? Let's talk. Muvo probably fits.
Tell us about your caseMuvo is built for museums in any country in the world
Our technology is the same for an art gallery in Madrid, an anthropology museum in Mexico City, a historic house-museum in Buenos Aires, a site in Mérida (Mexico or Spain), a palace in Lisbon or a cultural centre in São Paulo. Culture doesn't recognise borders, and neither does Muvo.
We're available during European business hours, but we reply to any email enquiry within 24 working hours. Billing is in euros by international card; we issue invoices adapted to your country's tax requirements.
Over 100 languages. Accents that connect.
Most platforms offer a handful of major languages. Muvo offers more than 100. And within each one, accents matter.
WITH SPAIN'S CO-OFFICIAL LANGUAGES, FOR REAL.
We don't stop at Spanish. Your museum in Bilbao can offer audio guides in Basque. The one in Santiago, in Galician. The one in Valencia, in Valencian. The one in Barcelona, in Catalan. All living alongside every other language on the same platform.
ACCENTS THAT CONNECT WITH EVERY VISITOR
A Mexican visitor doesn't hear a guide in peninsular Spanish the same way as one in Mexican Spanish. An Argentinian appreciates the «vos». A Colombian instantly picks up on an intonation that isn't their own. Muvo treats every Spanish accent as a variant with its own identity. And if you need an accent that isn't on the list, we'll look into it.
Does your audience speak a language that isn't in the marquee? Ask us. We probably have it. And if we don't, we'll look into it.
Artificial intelligence where it helps, not where it's a risk
AI is an extraordinary tool, but it still has one limitation a museum can't afford: sometimes it makes things up. When what you say has to be accurate, there's no room for a system to improvise.
Where we do use AI
Assisted translation.
We generate a draft translation of every text into every language you need. Your team (or a professional translator) reviews it before it's published.
Neural voices.
We narrate the texts with professional-quality synthetic voices. They replace the recording studio, not the museum's judgement.
On-demand generation.
You publish a text and the audio is generated automatically. No trip back to the studio.
Where we deliberately don't use AI
In the factual writing.
AI doesn't write about your pieces. Your team does that.
In unsupervised publishing.
A translation isn't published until a human validates it.
In decisions that affect your image.
The voice, the tone and the approach are chosen by the institution.
The result: the quality of a human process at the cost of an automated one.
What it costs to have audio guides at your museum
Traditional audio guides have moved out of reach for most small and medium museums. Here's the difference.
| Concept | Traditional audio guide | |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront investment | Thousands of euros in devices | €0 |
| Visitor hardware | Museum-owned device | Their own phone |
| Front-desk staff | Handing out, holding, returning | Not needed |
| Usual languages | 4–6 major languages | Over 100, with accents |
| Time to launch | Months | Days |
| Updating a text | Back to the studio | Edit and publish |
| Maintenance | Batteries, faults, theft | None |
| Monthly cost | Variable, high | From €69/month |
The question is no longer whether your museum can afford audio guides. It's whether it can afford not to have them.
A plan for every institution
Three clear plans and one tailored option. No lock-in. No setup cost. All prices excluding VAT.

Every day we research new ways to use AI to share knowledge
Muvo Classic is today's version: museum rigour, amplified by artificial intelligence. But the technology doesn't stand still, and neither do we.
We research new ways to use AI to bring heritage closer to people who are currently left out. Visitors with hearing or visual impairments. Children who need a different register. People arriving at the museum with no prior background who'd like a more accessible starting point.
We don't promise things that aren't ready. When an innovation meets our standards of rigour, we adopt it. Until then, it stays research.
If you work at a cultural institution and would like to collaborate on any of these lines of research, get in touch. We're looking for research partners.

Frequently asked questions
Not for basic operation. Visitors connect using their own mobile data. If coverage is poor in some rooms, we can discuss alternatives, but the standard case doesn't require any infrastructure in the building.
Our mission
We believe museums shouldn't intimidate, they should invite discovery. And that a small museum in a village in Galicia deserves audio guides just as dignified as the Louvre's.
For decades, a good audio guide has been a privilege of large museums. Thousands of euros in devices. Recording studios. Teams of translators. Slow, expensive processes that left most of the world's cultural institutions out in the cold.
Artificial intelligence, applied well, changes that. Not to replace curators' judgement, but to make affordable the part that was always expensive: translation, narration, distribution. The knowledge still belongs to the museum. Only the cost of bringing it to every visitor changes.
Muvo exists so that any institution safeguarding something valuable can tell its story in any language, to anyone, without blowing its budget.
Shall we talk about your institution?
Tell us what kind of institution you run, how many pieces your collection has, and which languages you want to reach your visitors in. We'll reply within 24 working hours with a tailored proposal and, if you'd prefer, a live demo.
